Sun News is history. It's sad. I'll miss it. I'm sure many Conservatives are quietly relieved.
I've been reading what conservatives have had to say already and they stole the words from inside my head.
Sun News gave air to things that other networks would not have touched. Take the High River Gun Grab for example. Nobody would have know about it without Sun News. Victims probably would have been charged for being robbed by police. Would the Calgary Herald have stood up for these people? Nope. Just a bunch of gun toting yahoos dumb enough to live in place called "High River" complaining about police saving their worthless red necks.
Thanks to Sun News we know the real story. Homes that were dry as a bone were broken into by police and their private property was stolen. The RCMP report would never have been written otherwise and now it looks like the victims will have their day in court.
The day that happened I was very angry. That was the day rants would be warranted on Sun News. The day Nathan Cirillo died was another.
Unfortunately everyday was panic level 10. I watched religiously at first. Then it started to give me a headache. It was just too much. Nobody could watch the entire lineup five days a week.
The exception of course is Micheal Coren's show. Coren was always level headed and always fair. His tone was never never panic level 10. He could somehow discuss very serious worrying topics on an intellectual level and invite the viewer into that frame of mind as well.
This isn't to say Ezra Levant was some kind of raving madman. Ezra is a force of nature. Even that sniveling liberal Jonathan Kay admits Ezra "drew blood". Indeed he did on several occasions. On other occasions, like the one all about Jonathan Kay, it was still panic level 10. I knew Jonathan Kay was a fake conservative probably before Kay did. Why I had to suddenly be mad at him for being himself only Ezra knows.
It's not like I didn't enjoy Ezra's show. I did very much enjoy his show. I would tune in about once a week. Let's say I was cleaning the kitchen or something. Let's see what Ezra is mad about today, I would ask myself and turn on the cable box. It was outrage on tap. That keg was never dry and never flat. One can't drink all the time however.
Please understand, I'm not saying I could do better. My blog posts and my Facebook feed are a torrent of anger and alarm as well. I have to control it better too or people just tune out.
I liked Brian Lilley as well. If I watched Sun News twice that week I'd try to see what Lilley was saying. I've watched him improve over the years. We are lucky to have two great personalities now.
I think that all being said its probably best to end the experiment that was Sun News. I'm sorry to everyone who has to look for work now. You're not alone and its looking scarier by the day.
It's small consolation but these things tend to turn out for the better. The next conservative voice will not be "The Conservative Voice!!!!!" It was wrong to try to counter media bias with opposing bias. Even Glenn Beck's slogan is "The Truth Lives Here." Give people the truth that happens to be conservative instead of the conservative that happens to be true.
Glenn Beck may have the right business model as well. I would pay $10 a month for a more dignified pay per view Sun News. While I'm at it Glenn Beck has some issues too. This is for everyone's constructive growth since I'm probably going back to The Blaze now. Don't forget the over the shoulder factor. I don't want to hide my news consumption like its porn. Someone could look over my shoulder and I should not be ashamed to show them what I'm watching. A grown man crying about America is not going to make anyone think I'm cool. I'll win no converts.
What I do like about Glenn Beck is that I learn something when I tune in. He really is dedicated to the truth and to being right. He's also a great story teller. When I sit down to an hour of television I want to walk away with something. I want to be smarter and better prepared than the person who didn't just burn an hour with you. I want the secret knowledge. We may not be able to save all the sheep, so at least help the viewers out.
I'm sad to see the sun setting on Sun News, but I have hope. The next incarnation will be that much better. Good luck you all.

Mulroney's Apology
Pierre Trudeau is a slut. This is a fact that cannot be disputed and nobody has claimed otherwise. Not even the son has refuted it, but apparently SUN has.
Well almost.
That is why I tune in to SUN NEWS. I want to know the real world. CBC and the rest will lie to my face in order to please people who live in a false and manufactured paradigm.
I don't usually like those people. Progressives. -Sugar coated liars each and every one. Mulroney was Quebecor's famous prog who leaked the apology to Bob Fife. One can only assume that he argued for it. The apology from Sun News is very likely his apology. It certainly isn't Ezra Levant's apology. Ezra has made no apology and should not.
I respect people who hold the truth as sacred. It is an objective sin to spread a lie. Man uses his mind to harness objective reality to support and improve his/her life. To mislead another is to steal that others ability to make sound decisions to better their life. Put another way, lying is immoral.
Progressives think that words create truth. To call Pierre Trudeau a slut is to create a slut out of Trudeau even if the facts show that a slut is what he was. This is what leads them to label terrorist attacks as "workplace violence" or ignore them completely. If they ignore then it didn't happen.
The Sophists, the originals, actually killed Socretes for impolitely removing the illusions from his peers. They may yet do this to Ezra Levant but Ezra doesn't have a death wish. Socretes was tired I think. He may well have wanted to finally leave all the deluded and fearful people behind in a way that would haunt civilization for millennia.
Ezra Levant has a lot more to do. I hope former PM Mulroney enjoys his new role as Apologizer to the Prince and hope he gets to practice it often.

Trudeau Passes Judgement On Sluts To Avoid Questions
Oops! Justin Trudeau does not like sluts at all. When Ezra Levant referred to Trudeau Sr. as a slut because of his well known promiscuity the media's darling prince had had enough.
The Liberal Party's Justin Committee has jumped into action on behalf of the greatly offended Liberal Heir. The brain behind Trudeau, Gerald Butts, showed his outrage at the speed of committee five days after Ezra's show.
Actually he doesn't seem that offended. He even seems more interested in using Ezra to tarnish small c conservatives. As if they aren't trying to do that anyway.
Ah lefty politics; where offence is but a tactical ploy. The fact is that Justin cannot handle tough questions. This is a desperate excuse to sidestep. He's been running from Sun News long before Ezra's Monologue on the 15th.
I say take Butts up on his offer. Bring him on the show. Sun News is not the CPC and if the Liberal Party wants to spend its energy on Sun News, please oblige them. Become the very center of their campaign. It would be like the CPC focusing on the CBC instead of the Liberals. Talk about stupidity. Imagine Harper taking valuable campaign air time for shots at Mansbridge?
I don't think they understand what they are dealing with in Ezra Levant. The man thrives on controversy. He's not running for office. He doesn't care if some spacey leftards and union bosses don't like him. Its all upside for Ezra and Sun News.
Huffington Posts resident Trudeau booster quoted someone else from The Justin Committee who said Ezra's monologue was "a personal attack on the Trudeau family that was offensive and breached any reasonable measure of editorial integrity." The re-thinker of space and time himself said Ezra was “beyond the bounds of civil discourse.” This coming from Trudeau who once screamed "Oh! You piece of shit!" to an elected member of government while Parliament was in QP session.
For all of this to be logically consistent "slut" would have to be orders of magnitude worse than a "piece of shit" in the minds of the Justin Committee. Sluts are lower than shit. That is what the Liberal Party is saying.
Well I do believe that being a hypocrite is right up there with mandatory abortion support for Liberals. I wonder if sluts are welcome in the Liberal party? Perhaps they should go elsewhere?
When I say sluts of course I'm including myself in that category. Well former slut anyway. Funny how nobody noticed that Ezra Levant used the term "Slut" in a gender neutral way. He called Pierre Trudeau a slut. You'd think Liberals and Slut-walkers would appreciate something like that.
I'm not so old that I don't remember how much of my life revolved around sluts for a time. Does that not make me a slut? Oh yeah, Ima playa yo. Other than the onomatopoeia quality of the word slut, why should promiscuity be valued any differently for a man or a woman? You can hold your own opinion of sluttiness of course, but people who enjoy or have enjoyed casual sex are not lower than a piece of shit.
Trudeau's deep offence at the word slut should be offensive to all sluts. Harper may keep Journolistas at arms length and we all understand why, but Trudeau's cowardly fleeing and evasions in the face of tough questions should offend all of us.

Freeing The Press
If there is one time honoured image that represents truth suppression and censorship its the hand over the camera shot.
The image above was captured while the woman attached to the stifling hand says "your organisations has really...[exposed us]." I want them exposed. If there is nothing to hide then the best thing they can do is let the situation speak for itself. They can't allow us to see.
Fracking is a false concern that falls apart under the slightest scrutiny. Exploring for Natural Gas would undoubtedly help this dysfunctional and gullible Native Band. The pseudo-environmentalists behind this violence actually put racism into practice when they exploit these natives for their own agenda.
It really bothers me when people cover up cameras. They aren't blocking Sun News. They are blocking you and me. I'm the one who wants to see what they are doing and saying. I'm the one wants to know who they are and what their plans, motives, and backers are all about.
That hand you see up there is a hand over your own face. They don't have the right. We will not be forcefully kept ignorant. We do not submit to thuggish intimidation.
To this end I support covert means of investigation. Allow me humbly suggest a couple of options for gathering information.
Of course the violence displayed by the thugs gives me pause in these suggestions. Chris Sims is a mother of two. None of this is worth making some orphans. Some coddling judge could conceivably give the would-be murderer a few hours of community service and a cash bonus in this screwed up legal system. Be safe above all, but you don't have to stick to traditional methods. Leave that to the Media Party collaborators.

- Drones: A standoff tool like a flying camera is perfect for safe exposition of hostile actions. relatively inexpensive compared to a helicopter. They cannot be ordered out of the local air space until its too late. I would only recommend deploying these during a violent confrontation. I don't think a constant watch would be productive until the moment eyes in the sky become valuable.
- Hidden Cameras: They can't seize what they can't see. We will see it all. Eventually they will catch on and start randomly searching people... all caught on film of course. You may want to consider broken or old branded TV cameras to focus attention and distract from unobtrusive infiltrators. It might raise suspicion if crews showed up without their tools.

Brian Lilley Speaks Out On Eco-Nut Violence
What would we do without Sun News? Here's Brian Lilley's take on the ignorance in New Brunswick:
In a way I like the anti-fracking movement. Its much easier to disprove than the Global Warming scam and it involves all the same characters. While global average temperatures have stopped tracking with CO2 and all the dire predictions have failed, low information leftards can still be counted on to attribute any random event to the angry gods of climate change. You may as well tell Muslims that their God isn't so great.
Fracking is way easier. The contention is that Fracking harms drinking water. Well how? This is where they are counting on the ignorance of their audience. The anti-fracking crowd hasn't got a clue about drilling. geology, fracking or even drinking water. I'll go into more detail in another post. For now I'll just say that a person against fracking is a deeply ignorant human being that has been sadly led astray.
All you have to do is explain the reality that occurs hundreds of times a day on this continent. All of it without a single instance of ground water contamination. Not even one. A reasonable doubter won't be able to have any disagreements once they possess the facts. A good place to start is the movie FrackNation. Once they wake up to the green machine that has been manipulating them about fracking, they'll begin to see the same tricks in all the other eco-hysteria.
Sun News is the only television news source that will tell us the truth about these things. None of the the others will give you the straight goods. Its not a conspiracy its groupthink. They are all progressives and progressives all think they are our parents. They shelter us from the truth in case we get scared or mad or sad... about the wrong things.
One blogger I read compared Sun News to news as McDonald's is to restaurants. Well ok so he doesn't like Sun News or McDonald's, but for the analogy to make sense you would have specify that McDonald's is the only place in the country that sells hamburgers and all the other restaurants are vegan.
Without Sun News Chief Spends would have probably got a medal for stuffing her face and calling it a hunger strike. Dr. Fruit Fly would still be out corrupting judges. The police would have charged flood victims in High River who were robbed by police. A private zoo would be closed by busy bodies and foreign groups like the Tides foundation would have their run of the country targeting business and livelihoods as they go.
That is just to name a few positive changes in a world with Sun News. Thank God for Sun News.

Ethical Oil is a pleasure to read
I just finished reading Ezra Levant's Ethical Oil: The Case for Canada's Oil Sands. I have to say that I loved it. You can get the general gist of it from watching these fantastic debates Ezra had with Elizabeth May and Andrew Nikiforuk. Its funny that Nikiforuk himself is a big part of Ezra's book, as is Saudi Arabia, China and Greenpeace.
The book is more in depth than the debates, as you would expect. All of Ezra's arguments are backed up with bullet proof facts and research that expose the eco-nut propaganda machine. Its also really well written. I barely noticed that I was reading at all. Points are made clearly and concisely as the author does his best to make his case rather than impress you with his scholarly prose.
Since the book was Published it has won the 2011 National Business Book Award.
I'm hoping to get my copy signed at the Gas and Oil Expo in June. Ezra Levant will be giving the Keynote Address and I hope to bring you the video (at no profit to myself). You can also catch Ezra's new show The Source on Sun News channel.

Which came first? Liberal Media Bias or Media Access to Slam Conservatives?
Access! Access. All this time. A lifetime of Liberal Media and it was all because one day Stephen Harper would have a Minority Government and would deny that same Liberal Media access. Unbelievable!
John Ibbitson addressed the fact that the Ottawa Press Gallery hates the Prime Minister. Well colour me surprised! I've only known this since before it happened. Now its so obvious they write about it.
Who's fault is it? Well It's obviously Mr. Harper's. He didn't provide access to himself and his Government that is why the media trashes Conservatives. It's not because they are self-selected lefties and have been trashing Conservatives like Brian Mulroney to Preston Manning to Stockwell Day. They have been at it since they learned to write from left wing professors like Iggy himself.
The Government has to entertain the media. We have to make them happy. That is why they "fixated" on the refused entry to events to activists. Remember they "fixated" on this while Liberals were expelling Neo Nazi's from their ranks and making apologies for thug hugging no-means-yes judges. By the five furies you guys make me sick!
How did I miss this before? The mainstream media hates Mr. Harper, because he isn't friends with them. He isn't friends with the media because...the media hates Conservatives and Stephen Harper in particular.
How dare you call yourselves reporters. Reporters report! You don't make fake excuses for your "fixation." You don't actively campaign for one party or another. You don't push your personal agenda over the facts. You don't LIE!
It was good of you to finally come out and admit what we have been saying all along. You hate Harper, and by extension you hate all of us. Fair enough, we hate you too. You are just like the Unions; a special and selfish interest that uses its position in society to advance your own agenda.
Your propaganda subverts our democracy and weakens our country. Instead of a strong experienced and responsible government, you would submit Canadians more tumultuous minorities and elections. We saw it in Wikileaks. Heck, you are even telling us about it. You are exposed! You aren't just exposed, you are lying about the reasons for too.
Shame on you despicable liars.
So what should we do?
We can disenfranchise them. This is what we are actually actively doing as conservatives apart from the Conservative Party. Sun News is a part of this. We can patronize Sun Media and any other media that services our wish for a friendly view of events and the world. We didn't invent this. We are the victims of this. This is the whole point of socialism and its latest incarnation: green socialism.
I believe that people are basically good. Absent all the lies people are conservative. Too many of them just don't know it. You can't really change people by insulting them or threatening them. People can only change themselves. You can only lead them to water. Disenfranchisement is the long term solution. What do you know, its already happening organically too. People are waking up to the Liberal Media. Even when I was in high school we learned the saying: Its not NEWS, its VIEWS. Well the next question is: Who's views are are making news?
I'm a good sport though. I believe in capitalism. I want the best product so lets give the incumbent media a fighting chance. They aren't all Liberal scum bags. Ibbitson himself is evidently a lefty, but its his honesty that is endearing. That's what this is about. Its not about creating an empire of the right. It's about tearing down the empire of the left.
Lets reach out to these dinosaurs and offer them the access they so dearly covet. Go ahead. Pick and choose reporters who may not have this hateful predisposition and give them a golden ticket to all the access they want. Performance should be rewarded. Wouldn't it be funny if access was dreaded by lefties for the favor that it implies. LOL

It was good of you to finally come out and admit what we have been saying all along. You hate Harper, and by extension you hate all of us. Fair enough, we hate you too. You are just like the Unions; a special and selfish interest that uses its position in society to advance your own agenda.
Your propaganda subverts our democracy and weakens our country. Instead of a strong experienced and responsible government, you would submit Canadians more tumultuous minorities and elections. We saw it in Wikileaks. Heck, you are even telling us about it. You are exposed! You aren't just exposed, you are lying about the reasons for too.
Shame on you despicable liars.
So what should we do?
We can disenfranchise them. This is what we are actually actively doing as conservatives apart from the Conservative Party. Sun News is a part of this. We can patronize Sun Media and any other media that services our wish for a friendly view of events and the world. We didn't invent this. We are the victims of this. This is the whole point of socialism and its latest incarnation: green socialism.
I believe that people are basically good. Absent all the lies people are conservative. Too many of them just don't know it. You can't really change people by insulting them or threatening them. People can only change themselves. You can only lead them to water. Disenfranchisement is the long term solution. What do you know, its already happening organically too. People are waking up to the Liberal Media. Even when I was in high school we learned the saying: Its not NEWS, its VIEWS. Well the next question is: Who's views are are making news?
I'm a good sport though. I believe in capitalism. I want the best product so lets give the incumbent media a fighting chance. They aren't all Liberal scum bags. Ibbitson himself is evidently a lefty, but its his honesty that is endearing. That's what this is about. Its not about creating an empire of the right. It's about tearing down the empire of the left.
Lets reach out to these dinosaurs and offer them the access they so dearly covet. Go ahead. Pick and choose reporters who may not have this hateful predisposition and give them a golden ticket to all the access they want. Performance should be rewarded. Wouldn't it be funny if access was dreaded by lefties for the favor that it implies. LOL
